Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Atlanta Harari Community (“we,” “us,” or “the Community”) website and member platform. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

Membership and accounts

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping it current.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and sign-in credentials.
• Membership and certain features may require approval by Community leadership.

Dues, payments, and community hours

• Membership dues and other charges are shown at the time of payment and processed through Stripe.
• Some membership plans include a community-service-hours expectation. Details of your plan are shown in your account.
• Benefits that depend on membership status, including burial benefits, require your account to be in good standing.

Donations

Donations are voluntary contributions to the Community and are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us and we will review the request.

Facility rentals

Facility-rental requests are subject to availability and approval. Specific rental terms, fees, and any deposit or cancellation conditions will be communicated as part of the rental process.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Access or attempt to access accounts, data, or areas that are not yours.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to compromise the security of the platform.
• Misrepresent your identity or your relationship to other members.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the platform for conduct that violates these Terms or that harms the Community or other members. You may stop using the platform at any time.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Community is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
