Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
The Atlanta Harari Community (“we,” “us,” or “the Community”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and member platform, how we use it, and the choices you have.

- Household and family information you choose to add, such as the names, relationships, and birth years of family members associated with your household membership.
- Membership details: your plan, balance, payment history, and community-service hours.
- Payment information processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; card details are handled directly by Stripe.
- Basic technical data needed to keep you signed in and to operate the site securely.

- To communicate with you about events, announcements, and account matters.
- To operate, secure, and improve the platform.
Service providers
We use trusted third-party services to run the platform. These providers process data only on our behalf and under their own privacy and security commitments:
- Supabase: database, authentication, and hosting of member data.
- Stripe: payment processing for dues, donations, and rentals.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Resend: transactional and notification email delivery.
- Google: “Sign in with Google” and embedded maps.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above as needed to operate the platform, with Community leadership for membership administration, or when required by law.
Cookies and sessions
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to maintain the security of your session. These are required for the member area to function; we do not use them for third-party advertising.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may review or update much of your profile information from within your account. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us using the details below. Note that some records may be retained where required for membership, financial, or legal purposes.
Children’s information
Member accounts are intended for adults. Information about minors may be provided by a household’s primary account holder as part of family or census records, and is handled under this policy.
